Overall Learning Objectives:

At the end of this meeting, participants will be able to:

    • review the latest published evidence on topics of orthopaedic trauma and elective practice;
    • review how to integrate the best available evidence into well informed practice decisions; 
    • review the latest developments in orthopaedic care delivery from a systems perspective;
    • review the latest developments in orthopaedic care delivery from a technological perspective; and
    • discuss how surgeons will need to be creative leaders in the changing landscape of orthopaedic care delivery.

    This event is an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and approved by the Canadian Orthopaedic Association. You may claim a maximum of 9.5 hours (credits are automatically calculated). | Through an agreement between the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and the American Medical Association, the European Union of Medical Specialists – European Accreditation Council for CME (UEMS-EACCME) and the Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners, physicians may convert Royal College MOC credits to AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.
