• Limit the total number of patient interactions, only see those who need to be seen urgently
•  Droplet and contact precautions for anyone with patient interactions

1. Fluid resistant mask to cover the nose and mouth
2. Safety goggles or full face-shield (corrective eyewear doesn’t count)
3. Barrier protection: gown and gloves (can also include scrubs in the clinical setting) 

• N95 masks are reserved for aerosolize generating procedures (High flow O2, Chest PT, and Intubation)

You must obtain consent from the patient in order to proceed: informed consent and the duration of the encounter need to be dictated into the patient’s clinic note for that call.
