Overall Learning Objectives:
At the end of this meeting, participants will be able to:
- discuss the evidence around hot topics in orthopaedic trauma and elective practice;
- integrate evidence into decision making to improve quality of care; and
- assess how innovation can be used to improve quality of care.

This activity is an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and has been approved by the Canadian Orthopaedic Association. You may claim a maximum of 10.5 hours (credits are automatically calculated).
Through an agreement between the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert Royal College MOC credits to AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Through an agreement between the Ministry of Public Health’s Department of Healthcare Professions and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, physicians participating in the Royal College MOC Program may record DHP Category 1 or Category 3 credits as Royal College MOC Section 1 or MOC Section 3 credits.
